A Celebrant is an independent person, trained in providing a custom-made celebratory ceremony, presently with no legal or government restrictions.
The subcultures of Punk, Reggae, Rock n Roll, Northern Soul and Scootering have opened my ears and mind to an array of wonderful and unique music, bringing together like minded people, many of which have become lifelong friends.
These subcultures have also given me the honour of Dj-ing alongside my husband and sons, at several events throughout Scotland.
Playing from a small – growing record collection, R&B, Rock n Roll from the 1950s, 1960’s Soul, right through to 1970s/80’s punk and disco, passing on the joy of music, watching, as it shapes and connects people.
My experience over the years has been within education and counselling roles, this along with many personal journeys, shaping me to be an empathetic and compassionate woman.
You can be assured that each ceremony will be unique and tailored to your specific requirements.
Being an individual who has a love for all things vintage and different, the opportunity to offer others a different, original ceremony, fills me with joy.
